Top Motorcycle Transport Destinations

There are tons of lists out there ranking some of the roads the United States has to offer. If you don’t believe it, google will enlighten you on some great ones. While most of them will rank the roads based on different criteria (road condition, amenities, etc.), this list will just point out some of the more interesting looking roads that have been called out on the internet in no special order and focus on the western states. Let’s see what the road has to offer…

Scenic Motorcycle Roads

What’s a road trip without great scenery? For that reason, The San Juan Mountain Skyway needs to be highlighted. There’s a great view of the Rockies and plenty of other great parks and resorts in the area for anyone who wants to unwind for a bit to break up their trip. In fact, it ranked on this list at number nine for that very reason. Also, check the Tunnel of Trees in Michigan, which sounds amazing. The description of towering greenery is irresistible, especially in the Autumn when the leaves change into a stunning kaleidoscope of colors. US Route 12 is another one known for stunning backdrops that will add a lot to one’s trip. Another road ranked for its setting is Beartooth Highway. It’s also known as a challenging ride.

Challenging Motorcycle Roads

Speaking of challenging roads, what’s better than pushing one’s self to the limit? If that’s what you’re looking for, you might want to check out The Million Dollar Highway in Colorado. The mountain road towers over the earth and don’t have guard rails to protect one from a fall.  Another ranked road, The Angeles Crest Highway, is highlighted for all the twists and turns to be found there and is not one for people who are afraid of heights.

Historic Road Trips

What about if you’re looking to connect to history or have a fun time while out on the road? There are plenty of roads listed that would be a perfect choice. One of those is the Anasazi Indian Country Tour. It earned a mention in this list because of the fact it allows one to connect with ancient Indian culture and see where the atomic bomb was developed. Choosing the Mexican Hat to Bryce Canyon allow you to not only visit a national park, but will also have plenty of great places to pick up food along the way. Finally, taking the Yuba River Road will allow one to take advantage of recreation areas and is also close to Nevada if one’s looking for some fun.
